ordered some new tires today. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. The Pirelli P Zero's I had on the NS last year weren't that good, and they were completely f***ed when I got home. Just fitted 285/30/21 PS2's on the S8 and they are absolutely brilliant. They didn't have the dimention for the Q7, so It'l get 295/35/21's Dunlop Sport Maxx GT.

My old Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's went on two seasons on the NS, and two seasons on the road... and still looked good! Sadly these are out of production now.

Also some last fixes..
*new brake fluid reservoir
*all new bulbs in the speedo and tacho
*handbrake adjusted properly

Will have a service in Flensburg and have an overnight with the Dr and get a full service (oil, plugs, filter etc) and full inspection as well as an alignment control of the wheels and lubrication of all calippers before we head down for Nürburg.

I got a quote from a well known but local garage today for a respray and I got a price "from €4.900,-" Sadly, I don't think it will be time before the RR.. I have reduced the price on the RS2 quite a bit in the advertizements, hoping for a quick sale, but if these mods go on...then I may have to increase it again

5 months in the paintbooth, completely stripped, painted and reassembled. Need to find more garage spots!!
*new front fenders
*new rear hatch and window
*new door trim
*new relays in fuse box

will send the wheels off for paint as well as soon as I can find a new garage for it. Have it stashed away somwhere else now :) At least it's inside.
